Bethesda Living Water Ministry is an Apostolic and Prophetic deliverance Ministry based in Randburg, The name Bethesda derives from John 5:2-9 “Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.
Our Ministry is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone” (Ephesians 2:20). Our beliefs and the teachings are based on the word of God which is the bible.
The vision of the ministry is originated from Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord”.
We are dedicated to God, and to do what Jesus did (Mathew 15:30). “Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them”.
Freely we have received, freely we shall give.” (Mathew. 10:8).

our senior pastors:
Pastor Patrick Thenga is the senior Pastor of Bethesda Living Water Ministry and is a minister of the Gospel who is deeply committed and driven to see lives changed by the Word of God and delivered from every demonic oppression. He was lead by the anointing of God to bring forth Bethesda Living Water Ministry, currently located in Blairgowrie, Randburg.
He possesses a powerful Apostolic anointing with deliverance anointing and is filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. As a Veterinarian by qualification, It was at college that day he received the call of God “to go preach the gospel to the lost and deliverance to the captives”.
His knowledge of the Word, coupled with a sound Biblical Worldview make him a great mentor to others. His teachings have impacted the lives of many of Christians .
Attired with the strength and power of God in all that he embarks upon, this man of God is truly a person who knows and walks in faith.
